We're back with the exact same team that brought you Clash of the cryptids and again a lot of thought and passion has gone into the design and production of the deck.
Based on feedback from you guys we wanted to expand the mythology and the world of the cryptids to something even BIGGER! Introducing Clash of the Yokai!
What are Yokai? Yokai are a class of supernatural entities and spirits in Japanese Folklore.
The game will throw up some pretty unique battles when you play them against your cryptids, who'll come out on top? It's over to you.

I'm so excited to share with you a brand new card game I've been working on called "CLASH OF THE YOKAI". It's a 32 card deck made up of Supernatural Monsters, Spirits and Demons from Japanese Folklore. There is so much richness to the mythology of Japanese Folklore and there is some really creepy illustrations in this deck.
It plays in the same way asClash of the Cryptids and can in fact also be played as an expansion pack to that deck too!
CLASH OF THE YOKAI will be launching on Kickstarter OCTOBER 26th. There'll be a series of exciting stretch goals including 8 UNLOCKABLE Yokai cards to add to the game.

Hello there,
Hope you're doing well and you've been enjoying Clash of the Cryptids. It's almost been a year since I launched Clash of the Cryptids, how time flies! A lot has happened since then as well as publishing Clash of the Cryptids there has been many more comics published and now I'm starting to develop a board game! But that's for another time... I learned so much from making this card game and loved putting it together. The game was recently stocked at THE MOTHMAN MUSEUM, in West Virginia!
All of this wouldn't have been possible without your backing since the beginning, so I wanted to let you know how grateful I am for your support!
WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE?
Would you like to see a clash of the cryptids expansion pack? Something along the lines of a regional expansion pack. I.E European Cryptids, Asian Cryptids, African Cryptids. These are just ideas, I don't know if there's demand for this sort of thing. So if you would like to see more of clash of the cryptids, please let me know and leave a comment below on what you think.

Hello there!
I'm really happy to finally tell you that as of today ALL of the pledges have been sent out! Thank you so much for your patience during this time. As you know I would've liked this to be out to you a lot sooner but the mess up on behalf of the printers really set us back months. But we did it, I learned a lot in the process and also have a great printer set up to make this process a lot smoother if we decided to do something like this again.
When to expect your pledge?
Everythings been sent out now, so it's well on your way to you. It's important to note items that included large items like prints or T-shirts or extra books that were added-on via backer kit will arrive separately due to postage restrictions. So add ons may arrive days, or even weeks apart, but rest assured they will get to you. Our postage was relatively cheap because we ship via economy so for international orders they arrive by sea rather than by air. So this can take between 8-12 weeks to arrive. Please be patient and contact me if you've not received your pledge by June 10th 2021
